Privacy policy

MyCadetship (mycadetship.co.uk) collects only what we need to publish moderated cadet reviews and to run the discussion board.

What we collect

Name, email, optional phone, optional college and cadet number, company names, and the text you submit. Discussion accounts store the same identity fields plus a password hash.

How we use it

Email and phone are used to verify you and to contact you about your submission. They are never shown on the public site. Published reviews show either your name (if you consented) or “Anonymous cadet”, plus stream, phase, companies, scores, and the screened text.

Legal basis

We process this data to provide the service you requested and to protect against defamatory publication. Contact: contact@mycadetship.co.uk.

Retention

Original submissions and audit logs are kept so we can handle complaints and take material down if needed. You may ask us to delete an unpublished submission or an account.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies for signing in. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies.
